    2. Dear Folks, I am trying to find out why my ancestor was appointed the guardian of the following children. I have no knowledge of a relationship between the Camp and Wisner families; however, yesterday I learned that James Wisner may have been in Dutchess Co. at some point prior to moving to Camillus, (or Elbridge), Onondaga Co. While looking at the Dutchess Co. GenWeb site yesterday, I did see the surename, "Camp" listed, although I did not see the surename, "Wisner." On Nov 6, 1809 James Wisner whom, I believed, had gone from Orange Co. NY to Onondaga Co. NY about 8 yrs. previously, with his father in law Moses Carpenter was granted guardianship of the following children in Onondaga County: Miles Camp inf son of Miles Camp late of the town of Camillus, who was about 3 yrs. old. Lucinda Corey, inf dau of Thomas Corey late of Camillus who was about 14 yrs old. (Note: Lose Cory and Benjamin Moore of Orange Co. were the parents of Abigail Cory who married John Carpenter, who may have been the uncle of James Wisner's wife. Does anyone have information on any of the above or know if there was a relationship between the Camp and Corey children. I have no information that indicates a relationship between the Wisners and either the Camps or Coreys. Does anyone know what happened to these children? Any information or clue regarding the above, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, PHoebe in CA
