Hi List, I'm hoping to get some advice or suggestions on cemeteries in the city of Newburgh and vicinity. I'm looking for the burial place for a Daniel Leslie. He died in 1875 at his residence in the city of Newburgh. His death certificate does not give burial information. I believe he came here directly from Ireland. He lived in the same place on Grand St for about 20 years so it seems likely he would have been buried in Newburgh. I have not been able to locate a death certificate for his wife as yet so that has been of no help. His daughter married a Presbyterian minister so it is likely Daniel was also a Presbyterian. I looked at the information on cemetery inscriptions in the Newburgh library and found nothing. Any clues as to what cemetery he may be in? All suggestions greatly appreciated.
