    2. lOOKING FOR ANY INFO ON MATHEW HOWELL. Suspected father of MATHEW HOWELL , b. 11794 ~1798? Upper Canada. Mother probably Kezia. We feel certain that he was not born an orphan; so if not, then he MUST have parents. Sigh* Here is a little of the info we have on him, or Mathews that just might be him. To my son Mathew, (there's a funny little insignia that looks like a "ce" smooshed together. Maybe it stands for Brititsh crown??) To my son Mathew (insignia)10, to be paid upon demand; to my son Theophilus, the small lot of meadow joining John Denton, Bounded on the West by the meadow of John Denton, on the East by the highway; Also a certain part of my large meadow in the drowned lands,.....to my son, Philetus, the remaining part of said meadows, bogs, and cedar swamp....to my son Theophilus, the remainder of all my lands, to my four daughters, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth, and Jane, all my movable estates.....my son William to be brought up by Theophilus until fit for trade,....my son Theophilus shall pay my son William (insignia)100 when he arrives at the age of twenty one years....to my son Theophilus, the use of all my lands until Philetus arrives at twenty one years.......I appoint Isaac Ludlow and Coe Gale, my executors.
