Hi Robin-- I have a CLARISSA THOMPSON probably born a little after your cutoff date, c. 1800, who married COE VAN BRUNT, probably around 1820. He was part of a family which lived in the Minisink area at the time you are interested in, but I know little about his parents other than their names--John Van Brunt (b. 19 Jul 1779, either Orange or New Utrecht) and Sarah Smith. Coe had two sisters, Mary Ann and Sarah, and a brother, John. Like you, I'd LOVE to know more about this Clarissa! Maureen P.S.
