The Theodore Snedeker mentioned above was likely the Theodorus Snedeker listed in The Book of Snedekers as having married Derike Vliet 16 November 1729. They had ten children, all bp. at the Tappan RDC. Theodorus was said to have been sheriff of Orange Co for several years, and thereafter a member of the colonial legislature. It seems likely that your Deborah/Dorothea was actually Derike, in that she outlived Theodorus, which pretty much rules out a second wife. As to Barent Blom/Bloom, there was a Barent Blom who married Femmetje Snedeker (b. abt. 1673), an aunt of Theodorus. Whether they were one and the same Barent, I can't say for sure.
