    3. Hi Susan, I am looking at the book , Portrait and Biographical Record of orange County, NY. published 1895 pg. 139; Moses Sloan ( b. Aug. 22, 1855) began clerking for Alexander Leslie a grocer in Newburgh. pg.171; a boarding school for girls was moved in 1867 to the Leslie House where it remained for 16 years, in Newburgh. pg.709; March 1876 Mr. Traphagen entered the employment og ZT. Barrett & Son who engaged in a shoe business until Feb. 1880, he then purchased the stock of boots and shoes of John W. Magee, and conducted the business alone for three years at No. 25 Water street. In 1884 he entered into partnership with S. J. Leslie at the same stand, in the firm being known as ZTraphagen & Leslie. In July 1890, this connection was severed, our subject selling out his entire interest in the concern to Mr. Leslie. ----- Original Message ----- From: Susan Elliott <ovenbird14@yahoo.com> To: Joanne <sound1@qed.net> Sent: Friday, February 25, 2000 12:22 PM Subject: Re: Cemeteries > Joanne, > > Thank you very much for your offer.
