Orange County Press Middletown, NY Friday April 3, 1891 Wilson Pierson the old gray-whiskered man whose face is so well known to visitors at Totten's Restaurant, nearly died of exposure, Tuesday night. He had been demented of late. He left this city to go to his sister's in Warwick Monday Night,Wednesday he was found by A.N. House of Sommerville, suffering terribly with the cold. He was taken care of by Mr. House until he became sufficiently recovered to explain his identity. He was given over to the care of the Goshen Superintendent of the poor. He formerly conducted a meat business.
