Joseph Allison's daughter, Elizabeth, was "not of age" in 1752 when Joseph wrote his will. Could she be the Elizabeth that married Samuel? Or does the fact that the marriage is mentioned in Richard Allison's will mean that she was Richard's daughter? What is the book by Seversmith that you cited? I look forward to hearing from you.
