John THOMPSON and Temperance J. VANDERHOOF/VANDERHUFF were married in Sussex Co., 10 March 1870. Does anyone have access to any marriage record concerning this couple, as to where the marriage took place and by whom? There were two children born to this marriage, according to the 1900 census, but none living. Does anyone have knowledge as to the names of these children, where buried, etc. Temperance J. was born Feb. 1827 and may have died 1917. She was the daughter of Jacob A. VANDERHOOF and Elizabeth SWAN, of Warwick, Orange Co., NY. Temperance was one of at least 10 children. John was born October 1819 in Middletown, NY. Does anyone know parentage?
