Hello, I am looking for anyone researching the DAVIS family of Warwick, Orange Co, NY. I have George Davis born about 1791 in Orange county served in the war of 1812 married 1816 to Margaret Doty or Doly he died 28 May 1879 in Orange Co, NY. I do not know where he is buried. Margaret died May 1876 in Chippewa Co, WI (where some of their children lived) Children of George and Margaret Davis Robert b c 1820 moved to PA Benjamin b 1825 moved to WI George b 1827 moved to WI Sarah Louisa b 1831 moved to MI Samuel b 1832 moved to MI & later to WI John b c 1834 unknown whereabouts Gertrude b c 1834 unknown whereabouts Phoebe Maria b 1840 (twin) moved to MI? & later to WI Ellen J b 1840 (twin) moved to MI Nathaniel b 1842 unknown whereabouts If anyone is searching the Orange Co NY area for Davis' would like to hear from you!
