I am a newcomer to this list. I am trying to track my great grandparents back to Germany. They were: - Paul MARTIN (born in Germany 1858; died in Warwick 1922)) - Pauline BEHNKE (born in Germany 1859; died in Warwick in 1933) They emigrated from Germany in 1884 with their two eldest children: - Adolph MARTIN (born in Germany in 1881; married Cecil BROWN; died 1948) - Emma MARTIN (born in Germany in 1882; married John DOLSON; died 1951) They had a farm in Sugar Loaf. At some point, they were joined by Pauline's mother, Wilhelmine BEHNKE (born Germany 1824; died in Warwick 1897). Their other children were: - Anna Juliana (Jul) MARTIN (born in Chester in 1885; married Otto GESELL; died 1980) - Carl MARTIN (born in Chester in 1886; died 1913) - Henry MARTIN (born in Chester in 1888; married Marion CARPENTER; lived in Monroe; died 1966) - Augusta Louise (Louie) MARTIN (born in Chester in 1891; died 1977) - Herman MARTIN (born in Chester in 1893; married Helen ROBERTSON; died 1917) - Frances (Mitchie) MARTIN (born in Florida in 1896; married Charles BACHMAN; deceased) - Eleanor (Pete) MARTIN (born in Chester in 1899; married Harry FARRELL; deceased) I would be very interested in hearing from anyone else researching this family.
