    1. 1910 census for Middletown, NY
    2. I order census microfilms from National Archives. I want to order the 1910 census for Middletown, NY. As I look at the catalog from the NARA, there is no index listing for Orange Co., NY using the Soundex or Miracode. The index for the census schedules, lists three reels/rolls for Orange Co.: Roll 1059, 1060 and 1061. Does that mean that one has to read through all three rolls to find Middletown in Orange County? Is there one of you that can tell me which roll/reel to order for Middletown? Appreciate any and all help. Thanks. Mona Bross Hylton, Indiana

I don't think there is any way other than finding the E.D. for Middletown. There is a publication that describes E.D. boundries (I think it's microfilm T1224). Hopefully someone on the list will know the E.D. for you. Scanning even one full roll is pretty heavy stuff that makes you wish those enumerators had paid mor attention in their penmanship classes.
