The necessary patrol and traffic who also led a cordon of his men at the head of the parade from the Masonic Hall to the Temple site after a luncheon for the guests; and the main oration was delivered by eloquent, distinguished looking Mayor ROSSLYN M. COX." Page 191&192: "Although there was no Masonic ceremony, the roster and by-laws of Hoffman Lodge were deposited among articles in the cornerstone of City Hall, begun in the Summer of 1910 when Robert Lawrence was Mayor and completed two years later in the first administration of ROSSLYN M. COX." "The Lindsay Brothers, Frank and Arthur, who are credited with other such enduring structures as the Horton mansion (Community College) and the former Low home as it was remodelled for George N. Clemson and who created in cozier style the later ROSSLYN M. COX home on East Avenue for F.P.S. Crane, built the Armory with hometown labor."
