From WANTAGE RECORDER, Friday, May 17, 1912: Mrs. Susan E. Dikeman died at the home of her son, Edwin J., in Goshen, NY on Thursday last week of heart trouble, aged 69 years 7 months and 16 days. She was a daughter of the late Jackson D. and Sarah (Martin) Jay, and was born in Deckertown this county. She married Edwin Dikeman, of Goshen, November 18th, 1875 and they resided in that place. He died seven years ago. One son named above survives them. The funeral took place at her son's on Sunday at 3:45 p.m., Rev. F. S. Haines officiating. Interment in St. James Cemetery.
