Hi, You might be interested in obtaining a copy of "A History of the Minisink Region" by Charles E. Stickney. It is available as a reprint from Heritage Books in Bowie, Maryland. It has lots of information about the early days in Wawayanda and other areas in NW Jersey. You might also want to check the Sussex County rootsweb.
