Dear Wisner List, I am transcribing some old letters regarding the Wisner family. I have in the past always wondered where the information regarding John Wisner Jr.(John Sr., Hendrick, Johannes) and Mary Thompson's children came from. I now have at least on source that is not just in the "Wisner Book." I would like to hear from John Wisner, Jrs' descendants, particularly those of his son James Wisner who m Elizabeth Carpenter. My memory tells me that the DAR records (applications) and the will of John Jr. both list the children by his 2nd marriage to Sarah Hall but I could never find any source for the names of his children by his first wife, Mary Thompson. I also have information on the parents of Mary Thompson that may not be generally available. Would love for more of us to get involved with studying these folks. Phoebe in CA
