Greetings from a new lister: Col Patrick Mac Gregorie/Mc Gregory brought a group of Scotch Presbyterians to early Orange County settling by 1684 at Plum Point at the mouth of Murderer's or Moodna Creek. His wife's brother, David Toshack was also a very early settler. This was the first white settlement in the area. Colonel Mac Gregorie/Mc Gregory, and after his death, his son-in-law Colonel John Evans, were well known in local history, being involved with large tracts of land. I am looking for the material on Colonel Mac Gregory/Mc Gregory and his family from Ruttenber and Clark's History of Orange County. Does anyone on this list know how I could access that source, or any other references to this family from any source. Many thanks, Sharilyn
