In regard to this Phinius DUNN, could his daughter, Zeruviah, be "my" Sophia who married Abraham VANDERHOOF in Sussex County, NJ? I am still trying to find out who Sophia's parents were. Sophia was born 1768 and died 17 August 1859 in Vernon, Sussex Co., NJ. She was buried in Papakating Cemetery, Sussex Co., NJ. She was the mother of at least 5 girls and one son. There is a record in the Sussex Baptist Church of her membership being transferred from Warwick (Orange Co., NY) Baptist Church in the 1790's. (Sophia DUNN and Abraham VANDERHOOF were my 4th great grandparents!) Can anyone on the list help? I will be glad to exchange info with anyone else researching this family. Does anyone connect with this family? Thanks. Mona in Indiana >>
