    2. Larry
    3. Judy, See comments below. Also go to my website http://home.columbus.rr.com/bloomgen/ click on the map. You will see Blooms Corners highlighted. If you look carefully under corners you will see a cemetery marked. I believe but can not prove that old John Bloom is buried here. His son John Bloom is buried in this cemetery. I think this cemetery is on the Bloom homestead. If you have any info on John especially who his parents are I would be really interested in finding them. Also if you have any thing on Mary. All I know about her is she was called Mary Huff/Haff in John's will. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Thursday, March 22, 2007 7:36 AM Subject: [NYORANGE] First Presbyterian Church, Goshen, NY Cable Hall Huff > Looking for a John Cable b abt 1800-1810 married > > Mildred Hall b abt 1814 > > James Hall b abt 1781 married > > Mary Millicent "Polly" Huff b 1781 d 1863 > > Interested in John Bloom d 1808 with dgt Mary Huff > > Where did he live and what was approximate date of birth of children > > John (Born c. 1767 died 21 Apr 1844 buried Orange County, New York in > what I call the Bloom Cemetery) > Benjamin (Born after John do not have a date may have went to Sussex > County, NJ) > Richard (Born after John do not have a date may have went to Sussex > County, NJ) > Jesse (Born 22 Jan 1776 date figured from tombstone, in Orange County, NY. > Marrried Elizabeth Davis c1797 in NY. 3. Hi Jackie, First, I wanted to thank-you for your gracious offer to do lookups. It takes a lot of time, but can help so many. Could you please take a look for William BURD (possibly Bird) who married Sarah BROOKS. Not sure of the marriage date, possibly around 1865. They resided in the Florida/Goshen area. Thank-you so much for your assistance. Sandi Hamilton [email protected]

    1. Re: [NYORANGE] NYORANGE Digest, Vol 2, Issue 22
    2. Hi Jackie, Was wondering if there is a record for Joseph getting married to Rachel at this Church or whatever records there is on Joseph. Thanks, Frank - New Lebanon, NY Joseph L. Sayre ...Married 1st, Louisa Thompson, had 1 son and 1 daughter; 2nd, on 2-Sep-1843, Rachel Dickers, daughter of an English Quaker, Henry Dickers. They had 3 sons and 2 daughters. Joseph was a farmer in Orange County, and Deacon of the Presbyterian Church in Goshen, NY. He had been a Captain of the Light Horse Artillery, and served in the Mexican Wars. He died at Goshen 19-Oct-1854, age 48. [Notes by John M. Sayre, 1997]: Joseph, like several of his cousins in Orange County, probably used the "Sayer" spelling. He is enumerated on the 1850 census living at Goshen. After Josephs death in 1854, Rachel and the children apparently removed to New York City to live with/near her father, or possibly a brother, a HenryDickers. ************************************** AOL now offers free email to everyone. 3. Might you have any SLOT or SLOAT families in your records? I have a Judith SLOAT b 06 April 1764. I have never been able to find any parentage or siblings for her. 1850 OH census shows she was born in NY. I know this date is before the dates you have, but thought it worth a try in case she may have been baptized some time after her birth date.
