Thanks for the offer, Barbara, but I have read a history of the Sloat house that is on-line so would think it might be pretty much the same. I do thank you for offering, however. Annie Edwards or Wood Cemetery is on the north side of Storm King Mt. It is not too easy to get to. You have to trek through the woods to reach it. It was originally on property that was owned by the Wood family. If you are familiar with the area, you have to turn off Rte 9W onto Mountain Rd. which is where Storm King School is then take an immediate sharp right turn and go back under Rte 9W a little ways. You have to park the car and go behind someone's house and trek through the woods. Further explanation - the Cemetery of the Highlands is on the right side of 9W if you're going north, before you go over Storm King, and there is a large sign with the name on it readily visible as you drive by. > Regina Haring > Nanuet, NY > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "ROBIN GALAGE" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Thursday, March 29, 2007 4:52 PM > Subject: [NYORANGE] West Point Cemeteries > > >>I was wondering if anyone knows the name of the cemetery that is on the >> northbound side of Rte 9W just south of Storm King Mountain.
