Hello, My name is Sandra Kakures and I am looking for the parents of my gg grandmother. Her name was EMELINE P. RUDD. I have listed all the information I have below. If anyone knows any little bit of information or where I can search further please let me know. I would appreciate it very much. Thank you. Emeline P. Rudd (Emily) born December 29, 1833 in Onondaga, New York (per her obit) The family left New York in 1838 and went to Illinois. Father- born vermont mother-born New York (maiden name may be Preston- per Emily's death certificate) She married a George Friend in Ilinois in 1848. She died in Yakima WA, Feb. 9, 1912. I have researched everything online including a Rudd mailing list. The Rudd mailing list does show the only Rudd's in Onondaga at that time were several brothers living in Lysander per the 1830 census. They were all born in Vermont also. We believe that maybe she is VINCENT RUDD'S daughter. All of the brothers have their children's names listed and Emily's is not there. She still may be one of the brothers child but she just wasn't listed. I don't know if her family belonged to any church. Does anyone know what churches were there at the time and if so, where would all the records be? Thank you for any help you can give. Sandra Kakures
