Hi: I need help in locating an obituary for my 3rd great grandmother Alice (Maiden name Clifton) Barnet wife of, John Barnet. Alice died 17March1877 in NY. Onondaga Co. or maybe Cayuga Co. John and Alice Barnet’s children and spouses: Robert Barnet h/o Ann Williams, Hannah Barnet w/o George Deline, Rebecca Barnet w/o Joel Foster, Sarah Barnet w/o Lester Young. I have looked at all the on-line cemetery records for Onondaga Co. and Cayuga Co., NY. John Barnet’s newspaper obituary from the Buda Plain Dealer, Bureau Co IL states that his wife died in NY and had lived together 58 years. After the death of his wife John moved to Bureau Co.
