Wittig's was an Ice Cream Parlor in the 50's located at James & Midler(where the Steak & Sundae is today). Not sure of location in 1936 era. Not sure how long it was in business at that location. The Poorhouse Bar, had different locations... Poorhouse West was in Western Lights, Onondaga Blvd. Poorhouse North was in Liverpool, possibly Old Liverpool Road. Not sure if there was any more... I was too young. :-))
