Here is the situation. My gg-mother Hannah Benedict 1809-1896, married George Virgil 3/15/1829. They had ad least 1 child, Sarah B. 1834 and perhaps another born in 1840. The on line cemetery records show nothing for George Virgil. Some researchers believe he lived well past 1850. Aug 22, 1846 Hannah married Sidney Ellis and they had 4 children from 1847 to 1852. All of the events except the birth of the last 3 Ellis children are believed to have occurred in the Pompey/Fabious area. I would like to determine how and when the marriage of Hannah and George Virgil was terminated. All help appreciated.
