Hi Jack- Do you happen to have a Peter SCOTT in your line ca 1900? My Peter J Scott was b in Co Mayo Ire abt 1870, emigrated to MA, married a Margaret BYRON BERRANE BIRRANE BYRNE ca 1892. They had 2 children, John and Anna. I beleive Peter died in Massachusetts bef 1908, and Margaret and children went to Syracuse. Anna stayed single, her brother John P may have married a Marion- they had 2 children, possibly more- Dawn and Walter b ca 1930 in Syracuse. Margaret lived with her sister & brother in law, Patrick & Ellen Byron EGAN on Otisco st, where they all helped run the corner grocery store. This is just a light introduction. My name is Jack Scott and I am researching the John C. Roberts family -this family may be resident of Onondaga Co in 1850. John Robert(s) was Canada ca. 1810 - his wife Margaret was b. abt 1819 and her birth county is Columbia Co. They probably have children - Frank, Margaret,Theodore, Gertrude Susan and Andrew. This family later ca. 1852 or so removed to Fulton, Oswego Co - and there resided for many years. There is a chance that Margaret wife of John is a LeMay - not sure yet - dont hold me to it. His father might be Frank Lemay b. 1785 in Canada - also at Fulton. Any help with John Roberts and family at Onondaga Co. would be of great interest.
