Could some kind soul please check the NY index of deaths when they visit the library in Syracuse and email me the information on the date of death, place of death and certificate number for: Jason R. SWIFT 1854-1935 and his wife Ella (nee Richardson) SWIFT 1856-1915 I need this information so that I can look for death notices in the newspapers and write to the local registrar for the death certificate rather than write to Albany. Sheila: I looked Jason up for the 1930 census shows him living in Throop Town Cayuga County, NY. He was living with the Wilbun Manrow (sp) and Minnie, Minnie is listed as 48 years old and Jason listed as Father in law aged 72 and being a widower. I hope this helps in your search.
