After a very rewarding trip to Syracuse, I still find myself with almost no information on Margaret D. FRANCISCO (Mrs. Malcolm/various spellings) Dennis. I did find that Mahlon Dennisand his mother, Susan, are buried in North Syracuse Cemetery. Maholon's dates were 1835-1899. Margaret Dennis was not found in those cemtery records. I have her and her husband on the 1870 federal census for Cicero. Daughter Annie was with htem. In 1880, Mahlon, Margaret, 2 daughters, Fannie and Verna Dennis and Mahlon's mother, Susan Dennis lived in Cicero. Susan Dennis was on the 1870 census as the wife of Ural/Urac/various spellings Dennis. Ural died the following year. I found Margaret Dennis as a widow on the 1900 Cicero census. Living with her was Leann Dennis, Malcolm's sister. Nothing has been found in 1910. I've not checked a 1905 state census for Onondaga, if there is one. I'm interested in finding the two daughters...Annie/Fannie and Verna Dennis. BTW, I want to say that the Onondaga Co. Library and the historical society are a researcher's dream come true.
