There's a town-sponsored football team called the "Sherman Park Bulldogs", but from what I can tell, they play somewhere nr Thornden Park, which is close to th SU campus). So perhaps there are two parks called Sherman Park. Th one that replaced a house formerly at 1000 Cumberland is th Sherman Park that's bordered by Cumberland, Westmoreland, Tecumseh, nd Sherman Place.
