This list is great! Thanks to both of you for your enlightening remarks on the towns of NY State. My mother's great-grandaunt, Carrie A. (Dodge) Jeffery, lived and died in Saranac Lake. I realized that Saranac Lake was in two counties, but not that it was also in three towns. It must be a real challenge obtaining vital records for Saranac Lake.
