    3. I believe it was actually called the "Anti-Sour Puss Club" that was headed by Nick Peters. A search of the Syracuse newspapers brings up many articles in the late 1940s and thru the 1950s. It seemed to be a recreational group that also spent much time fund raising for local causes. In 1943 there was an article that ran in the paper about the club, at that time they were raising money to buy an ambulance for the Syracuse area. The paper was an obit in 1962 for Matthew LONG, that stated while he lived in the Syracuase area, was a member of the Sour Puss Club, but gives no data on the era he was in the Syracuse area.
