A native of Syracuse, Mr. Cuyle lived there most of his life. He was employed as an architectural draftsman at Syracuse University. He was a graduate of Oceanside Community College in Oceanside, Calif. Mr. Cuyle was a member of the Rose Hill Baptist Church. He was a member of the Model A Ford Club and of the Wednesday and Friday night bowling leagues at Marcellus Lanes. He formerly served in the Naval Reserve. Surviving are his wife, the former Virginia L. Slater; a son, Steven J. of Marcellus; two daughters, Jacqueline L. Waldburger of Coventry, Conn., and Pamela M. Hotchkiss of Liverpool; three brothers, William of Manteca, Calif., Kenneth of Buckley, Wash., and James of Concord, Calif.; six sisters, Ruby Sisk of Pomona Park, Fla., Betty Metcalf of Tacoma, Wash., Karol Cummings of Everett, Wash., Karolyn Roth of Eatonville, Wash., Judy Perks of Buckley, Wash., and Suzanne Fessler of Sumner, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Surviving are four sons, John S. of Syracuse, William D. and James F. of California, and Kenneth I. of Washington; six daughters, Ruby E. Sisk of Florida, and Betty J. Metcalf, Karol I. Cummings, Karolyn M. Roth, Judy A. Perks, and Susanne M. Fessler, all of Washington; three brothers, Emerson Walker of Hermon, Kenneth Walker of Canastota, and Robert Walker of El Cajon, Calif.; a sister, Thelma Cox of Woodgate; 47 grandchildren; and 57 great grandchildren.
