Dick: I am interested in: 1. Jacob J, Signor, b. 1817 and his family. He was married to Diantha Edith Meacham, b. 1817, had 4 children however only Isaac L., b. 1837 and William, b. 1852 2. Lyman Douglas Signor, b. 1867-d. 1942 bur. Lafayette Cemetery and Anna Smith, b. 1884-d. 1964. He was a music teacher according to the 1930 census. 3. Merton Signor, b. May 1888 in Downsville, Delaware County but lived in Syracuse in 1920 and Salvay in 1930. Wife was called Neva Wood, b. 1891 in Delaware County. 4.Grace (Ostrander) Signor, b. 1878 and daughter, Hortence, b. 1904. Was married to Floyd A. Signor, a clothing manufacturer but they were divorced around 1919 and the 1920 census finds that she was in partnership with Alice Clary in a dry good store. No idea what happen to either Grace or Hortence after that year. 5. William Signor, b. Aug 1873, a pharmacist in Syracuse in 1920, married to Mary A. Tanner, b. Aug 877 and they had two sons, William Jr., b, Dec. 1896 and Harold, Dec. 1902. There may have more after 1930 since many resided in nearby counties. I have been researching the Signor surname since their arrival in NYC back in 1710 as members of the NY Palatine listed in Hank Jones Jr. book.
