Hello Folks: The Fabius Historical Society starts with the winter meetings on the first Saturday of each month. On January 5th 2008 at PM at the Fabius Community Center we will offer the following programs: 1:00 PM A short business meeting followed by Chuck Kutscher (Program Chairman) engaging the group on their interest and input on future programs. 1:30 PM Bill Casey will present historical information on early education in the Town of Fabius. This program will cover the one room school education to the 8th grade till the Centralization efforts. In addition Linda Meyers and Judy Conway will provide inputs on the Fabius Union School. Just prior to the school program, Bill will cover his ongoing project on the digitalization of Air Photo Collections belonging to: Syracuse University 1920-1930 CS Robinson Onondaga County Flight 1936 Mason Flying Service 1940-1950 Henry DeWolf 1927-1987 Mark Parker 1978 to present As always, The Fabius Historical Society meetings are free and open to the public.
