Hello, All, I'm a new member of this group, looking for my Lamoreux, Barnard and Strong ancestors from in and around Onondaga. Addison Strong was born 1828 in Onondaga, married Caroline Harriet Lamoreux in 1851. He died young by 1857. Addison's siblings included Oren, Alfred, Franklin, Susan, William H. and E.E. (male) Strong, all born between 1822 and ca. 1842. Their parents were Selah (1796 or 1799 - 1868) and Mary Strong. The Lamoreux line was mostly in Madison Co., NY. Caroline's parents were William Oliver Lamoreux (War of 1812 vet) and wife Harriett Barnard (born 1799, Oneida, NY, died 1887), possible daughter of David Barnard and Dorothy Winchell.
