I am researching John Hicks born in Massachusetts c1776, living in Fabius, NY with wife Esther in 1820-30's, moved to Humphrey, Cattaraugus County, NY before 1840. He died between 1855-60. I know of 3 children John Hicks Jr born 1802, Levi S. Hicks born c1820 and Mary Hicks born c1813. John Jr. married Sarah Stuart who graduated from Pompey Hill Female Seminary. She had a brother David Stuart. John and Sarah along with their 7 children moved from Humphrey before 1855 to Morrow County, Ohio. Levi and Mary stayed in Humphrey.
