    3. Hello Rob, With respect to your two questions: 1. Land Records can be located not only at the Onondaga County Courthouse, but on Microfilm at the: Onondaga County Public Library Local History/Special Collections 447 South Salina St., Syracuse, NY 13202-2494 PHONE: 315-435-1800 Since you're in MA, your best bet would be to try the library. 2. For Vital Records in Salina in the 1820's (and New York State in general), we have to rely on church records, bible records, cemetery records, family records, etc., because vital records weren't kept until the later 1800's. This is one of the reasons why we're trying to build up the Onondaga County USGenWeb with early church, bible, cemetery & family records to help everyone. Hopefully this helps! If you'd like to add any of your findings to the Onondaga County USGenWeb site, please let me know. Thanks, Pam Priest http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyononda/INDEX.HTM Onondaga County USGenWeb Site Coordinator Onondaga County Mail List Owner 1. Does anyone know where land records (grantee/or index and records) are kept for the township of Salina in the 1820's? Would it be in the town clerk's office? the county clerk? county courthouse? Does anyone have the address and phone number? I live in MA, but am researching the Jeremiah HOLMES family. 2. How about Vital records for Salina in the 1820's? Thanks for any help you can provide!
