    3. Hello. I am looking for information on a family that went back and forth between Utica and Syracuse. In Utica: Margaret Brennan, presumed to come over from Ireland as a small child. parents? Estimated birth from death cert: 1846; Ireland. Obit in the Utica observer says she came to this country as a small child, settling in Utica. Married: William Doherty, born 1846, Hastings on the Hudson; son of John Dougherty and Margaret______ In the 1860 Census of Syracuse, the family is there, John the father being age 68 and Margaret the wife being 48. John, William, and Daniel are all there. Eventually, William and Margaret settle in Utica, and their obits are in the Utica observer, 1911; 1915 respectively...I have them. Per another's notes: They are buired in Calvary Cemetary, Utica. However, I do not have a marriage record for them! And really need to determine if the oldest daughter, Henrietta's birth location. The family settles out west (Makato Kansas) between 1876 and 1890, and I have very good details of their time in Kansas. It is the marriage and the birth of oldest daughter Henrietta I am interested in. I have written the Catholic Churches in both Utica and Syracuse on the records, and never received an answer. Any ideas Fellow researchers? Thanks Barbara in Fairbanks, Alaska mlm@mosquitonet.com
