Does anyone have info on this family? I am having a hard time trying to locate any family or parents of Daniel and Harriett GILBERT MARSH. The descendants are living in Iowa, N.D., Washington State, Oregon, NE, & WI - that I know of. Daniel GILBERT who married Harriett MARSH abt. 1838 probably in NY state. Daniel b. 15 Oct 1815 in Syracuse, Onondaga, NY. died: 25 Jul 1899 in Delaware Co. Iowa. Harriett b. 19 Nov 1811 in NY state died: 1 Jan 1883 in Forrestville/Richland, Delaware Iowa. CHILDREN: (*In son Nelson's biography from Delaware Co.Ia it mentions that he was one of seven children.) Nelson b: 21 Jun 1839, Onodaga Co, died: 25 Apr 1921 in Forrestville/Richland, Delaware Co, Iowa. Md: 27 Oct 1863 Nancy GRIMES in Woodstock, McHenry, IL ? b: (LDS FHL rec show a boy with parents of Daniel and Harriett GILBERT had bapt in a church in Syracuse, NY -not in any other records.
