Greetings All! While on the subject of Onondaga Co. Library, would any warm hearted fellow genealogist undertake to copy a book for me?? It is a 64 page family genealogy book entitled "The Genealogy of the Family of Cole of Devonshire, and Extended Families in Suffolk," etc., etc. It has a dark red cover as I remember, was published in London around 1870, and written by James Edwin Cole who was an attorney in London at the time. I live in a town of about 3,500 people in Florida, but was born in Rome, Oneida Co., N.Y., and have a Cole ancestor that died in Liverpool in 1833. They won't let it be stressed by using a copier, but I wonder if someone could film it with a camcorder or take photos of the contents. I have tried England book searchers, and even checked around the U.S. There is one copy in Indiana, but I have no way of availing myself of it. There is no doubt that this is my family's history. So near, and yet so far! Regards, David in too sunny N.W. Florida
