    3. My family has always told me a story of my KING family and I thought maybe someone might recollect a little more or even some time frames so that I can look up newspaper clippings on the subject. The story is that my ancestors Thomas and Mary KING who lived on Green Street lived in one of the last log cabins left in the city of Syracuse. This would have been prior to 1900 I believe. They either built or moved into a house at the same location and donated the log cabin to the Syracuse Fair Grounds where it was placed in the "Indian Village" on the fairgrounds. The people who donated it may have been their children: Jack KING, Ethel KING, or Caroline WARN. Subsequently, a fire ravaged the fair grounds burning down this historical building. I have no idea the date of this occurrence. As a child I always thought that the "Indians" attacked Green STreet and burned down the log cabin!!! How we interpret as children is amazing. I only recently remembered this story and asked my mother and her cousins. I would appreciate any comments or recollections of a possible date etc... Thank you Faith lusyke@gisco.net
