Great grampa, William Charles Nelson married Cornelia Goodfellow on June 6 1853 at Centerville, Clay township, in Onandaga County, State of New York by Joseph Palmer, Justice of the Peace. William ws born on June 27, 1830 in New York and Cornelia was born on June 10, 1834 (also in New York). First child - Emma E. Nelson (m.Engley) born September 3, 1855 Second child - Charles William Nelson, born May 26, 185? Third child - James Ira Nelson, born October 13, 1867 Fourth child - John Henry Nelson, born August 13, 1873 Family moved to Eaton (or Ingham) county Michigan early in the marriage, but I can find NO record of any Nelson OR Goodfellows in New York either before or at the time of the marriage. How do I go back from here? Any help?
