Pam, It goes in cycles! We're just waiting for an interesting topic, or question, that sparks the interests of the many Schoharie associates. For those of us who are far removed from Schoharie County and can only make infrequent visits, the information posted by the local members become very interesting history lessons. I, for one, would like to find out if there are any kind of local census records between 1770 and 1830? Were all land transactions filed during this period with the county? What part of the county was created from other counties, and when? For instance, if John McDonald bought land in Albany County after 1770 and later was shown living in Schoharie County but didn't move, where is the most likely area that he would have owned land? So Pam, stoke the fire of conversation with some challenging questions.
