Hello Go to this URL for the Special Collections Section of the Onondaga County Public Libraries. Click on the Section for that says http://www.onlib.org/website/LH/lh.htm "Ask A Librarian" and send an email giving them the Name, location and Dates of the person or persons you are trying to locate. They have the Onondaga County Directories in that Dept. They might have additional information as well and be able to provide you with further details. Good Luck Pat R

No - the list is a list where anyone from any state can ask for a search in any City Directory... If you can't find the actual URL at the Rootsweb page you can: To contact the CITY-DIRECTORIES list administrator, send an email to CITY-DIRECTORIES-admin@rootsweb.com. To post a message to the CITY-DIRECTORIES mailing list, send an email to CITY-DIRECTORIES@rootsweb.com. I don't recall the URL to sign up to be a member - remember everyone will appreciate accurate subject lines... Dear Onondaga List, I did a quick check on Ancestry.com and the only William Wellbrock anywhere near Syracuse was on the 1920 census for Orwell, Oswego county, New York. He was born abt 1874 in Germany and had a wife Florence. I volunteer at the FHL every Monday for four hours and I have access to the Syracuse City Directories up to 1935. I will gladly check for William and if you let me know the years and the name of the church (or at least a general location) I can check on the churches for you (as time permits).
