A patron called asking about the parents of Mary Ann HOTCHKISS. Mary Ann married Samuel Allen SMITH who was born in Nelson, Madison County, in 1809. All the information I got was that Mary Ann was from Onondaga Hill and that she may have been "part Native American." Both Mary Ann and Sam are mentioned in Tuttle's _Pioneers of Madison County_, but Mary Ann's parents are not identified. Can anyone help me with this problem?
