Hello everyone, Here are some Onondaga County web site URLs for you: The Onondaga County USGenWeb Site URL is: http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyononda/INDEX.HTM The address for Onondaga County Cemetery records at the above site is: http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyononda/CEMETERY.HTM We're slowly getting all of the cemetery records online. It takes awhile since there's only a few of us volunteering our spare time (which is very limited!) We could use more volunteers!! The Town of Onondaga Historical Society's Cemetery Web Site URL is: http://www.admass.com/tohs/cemetery.htm For information regarding Vital records, visit the Onondaga County USGenWeb Site URL at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyononda/ADDRESS.HTM At the bottom of this page it will give the information on how to obtain Vital Records from Onondaga County, and from the State of New York. Please let me know if you have anything you would like to add to the Onondaga County USGenWeb Site. Thanks, Pam Priest Onondaga County USGenWeb Site Coordinator http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyononda/INDEX.HTM Onondaga County Mailing List owner

Sorry, should have included URL for Onondaga County Cemetery records. It is: http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyononda/CEMETERY.HTM Best of Luck! Lucie
No it wasn't VitalCheck. I got the impression from reading VitalChek's information they won't do death certificates unless you are a direct relation. Kevin. A few weeks ago I stumbled on a commercial Web site that provides copies of NYS death & birth certificates. The cost was only slightly higher than NY Dept. of Health and they guaranteed a quicker turn-around (ANYTHING would be quicker than NYDOH!!!). Does anybody have the URL for this site? I should have bookmarked it, but didn't. Thanks. Kevin Cary Columbus, OH

Hi All: Was wondering if any of you in wondering through cemeteries in Onondaga Co., NY, might have happened upon a grave stone for an Elizabeth (Houghtaling) LOTT, who would have died between 1800-1828. She would have married a Jacob LOTT about 1800 in Sussex Co., NJ, before moving to Onondaga Co., NY. She would probably buried in the vicinity of Pompey. Would greatly appreciate any information at all. Thanks Clarence Lott, in the Mile High City
Looking for information about the Connecticut roots of Daniel Bradley, early settler of Marcellus. I believe my GGG grandfather Michael Gillet married Esther Bradley, a sister (?) of Daniel, in New Hartford, CT in 1782. Michael and Esther's youngest child, Linus, married a Cody possibly daughter of Elijah or Daniel Cody, both in Marcellus in 1820. Esther may have died in Marcellus in 1807 or 1808. Her death is not confirmed however. Would appreciate any info about these families. Tom Gillett
