    3. Shawn, I have Kelley's from Onondaga County in my line as well. I'm not sure where the crossover is, but they lived in Baldwinsville, NY right outside of Syracuse. I would be most interested in communicating regarding Daniel Kelley. Please email me if you would like to communicate further. 1. DENNIS
    2. After a very rewarding trip to Syracuse, I still find myself with almost no information on Margaret D. FRANCISCO (Mrs. Malcolm/various spellings) Dennis. I did find that Mahlon Dennisand his mother, Susan, are buried in North Syracuse Cemetery. Maholon's dates were 1835-1899. Margaret Dennis was not found in those cemtery records. I have her and her husband on the 1870 federal census for Cicero. Daughter Annie was with htem. In 1880, Mahlon, Margaret, 2 daughters, Fannie and Verna Dennis and Mahlon's mother, Susan Dennis lived in Cicero. Susan Dennis was on the 1870 census as the wife of Ural/Urac/various spellings Dennis. Ural died the following year. I found Margaret Dennis as a widow on the 1900 Cicero census. Living with her was Leann Dennis, Malcolm's sister. Nothing has been found in 1910. I've not checked a 1905 state census for Onondaga, if there is one. I'm interested in finding the two daughters...Annie/Fannie and Verna Dennis. BTW, I want to say that the Onondaga Co. Library and the historical society are a researcher's dream come true. I do wish I could have spent more time in both places. Shirley Maynard Hampton, VA

    3. Hello listers, Can I get a kindly soul to give me as assist with looking up some information? Can someone look in the Onondaga County death index for the death dates of William R. Winne and/or his wife Dehlia A. Winne nee Anderson? William Winne served as Coroner in Onondaga County, but I'm not sure of the years of his tenure. Additionally, I have been able to find him and his family in the 1930 census but that is the extent of my records. So I'm looking for more documentation. Any help will be greatly appreciated. 3. Thanks Bill for your help. I'm trying to make sense of about 200 postcards from all over. Of course nobody used the proper names of anyone so it's a mess sorting them all out. I see that Julia and Albert seem to have had a "shotgun wedding" as baby Charles was born abt Jan of 1912 with a wedding July 31 1911! He must have been a very big preemie! Julia Hinman-Hammond died abt Jan 1912 from what I can tell now. I don't know now who died abt April 30 1912 and was buried May 8 1912 in Oak Wood Cem.. Myra?? Mr. Hinman?? somebody else?? ARRRGH! The Hinmans and Hardmans moved in together in 1912 as I have that on a postcard. G--Uncle Albert seems to have become very close to Lillian as they signed cards as a "couple" within months and "Albert Jr". shows up within a year later. . . Lorne was another g-uncle and Nathaniel was my G-grandfather. |I knew they were in the U.S. about that time but I didn't have addresses.

    3. Myself, I'd stay outside the city a bit at one of the chain hotels either at Carrier Circle or Liverpool area. (email me if you need details). About a 10 minute drive to downtown. The parking garage does fill quickly and $$. There are two nearby surface lots. One at the corner of Salina and Onondaga St. A short walk to the Galleries. Just a bit farther, and always available it seems is one off Clinton St., just before Onondaga St. I use these whenever I go to the library during the week or if it's super busy on weekends and can't find a spot on the street. The bus stops just south of the Galleries on Salina- about 1 or 2 buildings away. I don't know what the policy is for Saint John The Baptist on records research- never asked. Here's the rectory office phone # 315-478-0916. The priest is Father Jon Werner, he just started a couple weeks ago, but seems to be very nice. ------------------------------- Nancy Ward [email protected] Syracuse, New York On Jul 27, 2004, at 6:49 AM, Gary wrote: > > In reply to Dorothy Goodman and others interested in a Hotel near the > Onondaga County Public Library in Syracuse, NY. > > The Hawthorn Suites Hotel on S.
