I was pleasantly surprised how well the Surrogate's Court indexes were kept, and how helpful the staff is. I also visited the library where I picked up quite a few obits from newspaper films. I could have still stayed there for three whole days more and not found everything I need, but I'll just have to go back sometime soon. I also found Floyd Cemetery, Townsend Cemetery, and Oriskany Cemetery with only minor set-backs. Cemetery photography in the rain can be a challenge, but I believe I succeeded. I even found Gardner Street and photographed my gr-gr-grandparents' old home. I had a wonderful time and am grateful for all of the help you all gave me getting ready for it!
