    3. St Peter's 1837, St. Mary's of the Assumption would be the earliest parish etsablishment date as a mission church out of St. John's in Utica perhaps. Prior to that a circuit priest would admin. the sacraments while traveling the surrounding territory,out of Albany then Syracuse when the Syracuse Diocese was formed.
