Co Clerk has divorce records and land records from 1791. Am not sure when Rome was no longer county seat but early records would be there as listed above. Utica became county seat in more modern times, not sure of date. Nothing gained if you don't try the town clerk records for Rome! Likely would only be license as the certificate was probably given by the church. Marion in AZ
