I have been trying to locate the location of Whitestown but can't find it on a map and am told it is in Oneida Co. NY. Can anyone assist me?

Susan, Are you confused still? Many people who aren't from New York might be. In the state of New York a TOWN is what many other states call a TOWNSHIP (smaller part of a county). If you're from Louisiana, you have another whole way of dividing your state. To those of us from the Midwest, a TOWN is a small city or village.
